Ohio's Fertile Ground

P45
A mile or so below this strip of grass in Ohio sits a chance for energy independence as well as a path to job creation.

This grass sits atop of the Utica shale oil and gas play that is gaining national attention.

Joel Kotkin wrote about it today in his weekly Forbes.com column. He's right on.

Kotkin wrote, "With the proper environmental controls, these industries could provide a major jolt to the economy while cutting down on energy imports, reducing debts and bringing jobs back home."
