Guest Post: Ohio Manufacturing Rebirth From Shale Gas

The columnist is out for a few days so a take on some guest blogs is in order. Enjoy!

Friends of mine, Jim Samuel and Walt Good, are quoted in this Crain's Cleveland Business article from June 20, "Manufacturers Anticipate Boost From Natural Gas." It's a look at the equipment-manufacturing benefits of Ohio's emerging role in shale gas.

The article is a good primer on this emerging way to access "the Marcellus and Utica shale deposits beneath eastern Ohio, much of Pennsylvania and a few other contiguous states."
