Wind Farm Windfall? NBC 4i
NBC4 in Columbus did a pretty good job looking at wind farms in Indiana as a model for what has been incentivized to happen in Ohio.
Interesting.
I think the bottom line is that the real jobs with advanced energy (wind, solar, etc.) are not in installing them, but in manufacturing them.
Though there needs to be a market for these things too, the value chain is at its best where the nacelles, gear boxes, rotor pieces, and towers are manufactured. That's where we should be incentivizing, not in installation.
