My Pizza Philosophy

Pizza is a very regional thing. The pizza where you grew up is, often, the pizza style you favor for the rest of your life.
Above is a pizza with half pepperoni and mushroom and half sausage and green pepper.  It's from Kraus' Pizza in Stark County, Ohio.

Below is NOT Kraus' Pizza.

This is pizza from another part of Ohio not too far from Stark County. It's served square. The toppings are added after the pizza comes out of the oven.

I lived where this pizza was the favored style for over five years.  I ate it from time to time, but I never came to be a fan of it.

After I moved to other parts of Ohio, I could never find the style of pizza that matches the one that I grew up favoring.
