Issue Update: China

I'm updating past issues on occasion over the next few days.

Joel Kotkin predicted it, but I think it's come even sooner than he would have predicted.

Due to demographic challenges and working age shrinkages, China has become very nearly a non-issue.

It was less than a year ago when economists were still predicting China would surpass the U.S. in manufacturing and GDP.  Find anyone saying that now?

Any exec who says they are building a new plant in China in order to export product back to the U.S. might be a candidate for a mental health evaluation now.

It's amazing how quickly an issue can turn.
