Last Summer, we stopped at the closest place with our family name in it for a quick photo. Plattsburg, Ohio is a little unincorporated (in Ohio that means it doesn't have a town council or mayor) village just south of US40 and South Vienna in Clark County--half way between Dayton and Columbus.
Fittingly, Plattsburg has a road, a railroad line and crossing, an electrical substation, and farm fields.
I say fittingly because if our family were to start a town of our own, we wouldn't consider it complete without at least all five of those things. Goodspeed, Plattsburg. Goodspeed.
