It's not even a Presidential election year and, yet, some group found a reason to invoke the "R" word in a television/YouTube ad. The group is trying to advocate for their anti-legislation stance using the fear of future repercussions with legislation they say will "send us back to the Rust Belt."
Rust Belt is a pejorative. There are better phrases to use to describe our Ohio economy.
It's debatable whether SB310 is good or bad for Ohio manufacturing. One could, in all fairness, argue both ways. However, it would have been better to bury the Rust Belt phrase. Shame on Ted Ford's group for using "Rust Belt" as a whipping boy.
