14 Degrees Warmer and 39 Miles North. . .


. . . is the difference between Newark, Ohio today and the coldest temperature ever recorded and the place in Ohio where it was recorded.


The -25 my car registered today still pales in comparison to the temperature achieved at Milligan, Ohio in 1899 when, one February day, it was -39 degrees.
