Good Central Ohio STEM News

From Joel Kotkin's upbeat historical and futurist report on the Great Lakes states, I took this slide.

The Columbus MSA, of which Licking County is a big part, was second among 40 metro areas in the Great Lakes region for growth in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) occupations since 2009.

This piece is just one more piece of evidence showing why STEM education matters.  Parents discouraging their kids from science and technology careers are not only doing a disservice to their kids, they are doing a disservice to our economy.
