A National Manufacturing Policy In the Making?

I saw the headline first. "National Manufacturing Policy on the Anvil, Says Government."

I was thrilled.  I've been advocating the same for months.  It's time to focus on embracing manufacturing, investing in skills training, removing uncertainty about public infrastructure's future, achieving energy independence, and reducing regulations.

However, I read the headline before I read the dateline.

Oops.  The dateline was not Washington, D.C.

It was out of New Delhi, India.  India's cabinet is developing a strategy aimed at adding 100 million manufacturing jobs in the next 10 years.  Here's the article.
