One company is buying more than $1 of every $100 worth of goods and services bought in Ohio every year. It's true.
According to recently-released numbers, Boeing continues to be among Ohio's largest consumers. The Boeing Company bought nearly $4.8 billion (yes, that's a "b") in goods and services from Ohio vendors in 2009.

The 2007 Gross Domestic Product of Ohio was $466 billion. It's likely down in 2009.
Thus, Boeing's buying power represents more than 1% of the Gross Domestic Product of Ohio.
Boeing's impact is huge and that's why we are proud to host Boeing's largest presence in Ohio at the Port Authority-owned Central Ohio Aerospace & Technology Center in Heath.
